The Community Ambassador is responsible for facilitating lab testing at community testing sites. Associate will be responsible for registration, specimen collection, supply management, and traffic control.
- High school diploma or GED
6 months of patient care experience
Must have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills
Must possess ability to speak and write clearly and directly
Core Job Responsibilities:
Assists with set up and breakdown of site
Completes paperwork to register community members as they arrive at testing site
Assists with traffic control
Performs temperature checks
Performs nasal swabs to collect specimens
Adheres to policies and procedures for proper specimen labeling, handling, and storage
Assures confidentiality of patient information and medical records
Collects and organizes supplies to ensure all work areas are restocked appropriately
Provides education to community members about the testing and results process
Provides consistent and compassionate service to community members
Prioritizes and coordinates multiple testing encounters simultaneously
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demand Level:
Ability to function in varying outdoor temperatures while wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
