ST FRANCIS HOSPITAL

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision and direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor/Staff Pharmacist, fills routine orders for medications and performs order-processing tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. High School or Equivalent.

2. A formal academic pharmacy technician training program that is accredited by American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP).

3. State Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of South Carolina, or graduate of a formal academic pharmacy technician training program that is accredited by American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) and successful completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam
