Job Description

  • Provides medical specialists with the resources required to meet patient needs and meet the operational objectives of the group practice.

  • Participates in the selection, training, and supervision of all clinic staff and responsible for employee performance management and engagement activities.

  • Oversees daily office operations and clinic flow.

  • Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Ensures that office is staffed appropriately.

  • Assists in the recruiting, hiring, orientation, development, and evaluation of clerical staff.

  • Oversees and approves office supply inventory, ensures that mail is opened and processed, and offices are opened and closed according to procedures.

  • Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.

Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly


High School Diploma and minimum 2 years’ experience working in a physician practice.

Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requires proven ability to take on a variety of different tasks.
