The RN Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating and triaging phone calls from Physicians, patients/families, staff members, and outside agencies to ensure that the needs of the customer are met in an efficient manner. The RN Customer Service Representative serves as a liaison for the patient and staff coordinating orders, transfers, and relaying pertinent information to the Patient Care Coordinators. The RN Customer Service Representative assists the agency in telemonitoring (home health only), processing of workflow, scheduling visits, and coordinating patient care among disciplines and ancillary services as requested by the Patient Care Coordinators. The RN Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing timely responses to physicians, patients/families, and clinicians promoting positive working relationships.
Education: Graduate from an approved school of nursing. Experience: One year of clinical practice in home health or hospice is required.
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance guidelines for coverage of home health or hospice services.
