Job Summary/Purpose : The Accreditation Director is responsible for oversite and operations of MUSC's (Health System Wide) regulatory and accreditation program. Oversite is provided to all areas within MUSC. The Senior Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and other regulatory bodies standards and rules.
Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required. Master's Degree (nursing, law, health administration, etc.) preferred. Minimum of three (7) years of professional leadership experience working in a healthcare setting with a focus on regulatory compliance or quality. Academic healthcare setting experience preferred.
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Demonstrated ability to manage both people and processes.
