Job Summary/Purpose : Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager of Covid 19 Pandemic Response Team. Relief Site Lead is responsible for carrying out the objectives, plans, and polices for the established testing areas. Endures that the services provided within area of responsibility are delivered within established standards.

•Validate that sites have proper supplies and rover phones are charged and ready to go for day.

•Facilitate appropriate set up of site, directing and assisting care team with set up and break down of each testing location. Assisting with patient flow and registration.

•Timely arrival to vaccination sites/testing sites.

•Triage staffing issues in live time at site – e.g. sending care team member home if sick

•Coordinate appropriate breaks and coverage as needed throughout day

•Communicate any safety or performance concerns to operational leader

•Ensure site is clean and organized after the conclusion of each testing day. All items that need charging are in docking areas to be ready for next day. Request additional supplies for appropriate restocking as needed.

•Responsible for the COVID phone line responsibilities include

•Assisting patients with navigating the COVID testing, and COVID vaccinations as well as COVID treatments MUSC offers.

•Responsible for the collection of lab specimens in Epic when patients arrive to our fixed testing sites.

Minimum Training and Education: High school diploma and three to four years related experience or an Associates degree and two years related experience or a Bachelor's degree and one year related experience. Clinical Experience required. CMA or PCT experience preferred. Active South Carolina Driver’s license.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Active South Carolina Driver’s license, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
