Roper St. Francis Healthcare Mgr Eye Center in Charleston, South Carolina
The Manager Eye Center directs operations of the Roper St. Francis Eye Center, clinical outcomes, customer satisfaction, marketing, customer experience and fiduciary responsibilities. Is accountable for delivery of high quality services, optimal operational function of the clinical area, and the maintenance and adherence of clinical staff to all regulatory requirements. The Manager is responsible for facilitating the planning, organization, implementation and control of the resources needed for optimal performance of the Eye Center in coordination with physicians, other clinicians and support staff. The manager is responsible for program and policy development; human resources management to include recruitment, retention and staff management/supervision; and promoting an optimal working environment. Ensure high quality care and for the administrative management of the department on a 24-hour basis.
Education: BSN or Master’s degree from an accredited school or college of nursing. Specialty certification also preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years of recent clinical nursing experience. Recent management/administrative experience preferred. Opthalmology experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Ability to analyze situations and apply critical thinking. Ability to communicate clearly. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
