SC Department of Public Safety Registered Nurse II in Charleston County, South Carolina

Job Responsibilities

This position is located at 5 Charleston Center Dr. Charleston, SC 29401.

Under limited supervision, will provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients at the Tricounty Crisis Stabilization Unit.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

STATE:Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing.

*INT: *A bachelor's degree in nursing and three (3) years of experience; or three year diploma and three years of experience; or an associate degree in nursing and three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, two (2) years must have been in a community mental health program.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the SC Board of Nursing. Some positions require a valid driver's license and/or certification in Basic Life Support.

Normal Work Schedule (Other): This program admits patients 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Full-Time, M-F, 8 hour shifts 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 11PM-7AM.
